I recently visited Kirkby Stephen Primary School to drop off a letter, the walk would do me good and I would save on postage.  Always nice to say "Hello" to some old faces (not that old actually, but you know what I mean).

To set the scene, I will tell you that it was raining, not a little drizzle but torrential, the type that soaks you in moments. Actually just like the weather in Jurassic Park when they are hiding in the car from a very large T.Rex and there is a man sitting on the toilet.

I approached the electric blue huge gates and stood there like an idiot.  What do I do next?

These are early days for Kirkby Stephen Online, and there's no way we can fill all of these pages by ourselves.

But who would want us to? KSO is a community site, its success depends on its pages being full of news, views, information and pictures which come from the people of Kirkby Stephen.
