Kirkby Stephen Online needs people who'd like to contribute to the site. If you've ever fancied having a go at being a reporter, here's the chance. KSO wants to reflect as much of what is going on around Kirkby Stephen as it can.

The more subjects that are covered, the more interesting this site will be – gardening, cooking, astrology, walking, sport, fashion, local history, skateboarding, natural healing, real ale ...  the list is endless.

Kirkby Stephen Online is a community website that can be a home for community journalism, giving people a chance to write about things that matter to them and the community, telling the rest of us what's going on.

Let us know what your village, club, school, church, street or organisation is up to and we’ll publish it online, simple as that. It’s free, and all it takes is an email . 

From reports to rants

You can pass comment, give advice, thank someone, ask for help or just get something off your chest.

It also means people communicating, and adding an extra sense of community to the town and the villages nearby.

If the idea sounds intriguing, get in touch. It's certain that there are plenty of stories out there that should be told, and

we can give you space for a written column or a recorded podcast on any subject you like, so long as it’s legal, decent and honest.
